American Walnut banqueting table, Suffolk

Reconfigurable 8.6m long live-edge American Walnut banqueting table made in four moveable sections commissioned by Lois Hunt for The Walled Garden at Sibton Estate – part of the Wilderness Reserve boutique country estate in Suffolk. This 8 bedroom 18th century has been dubbed ‘Britain’s Coolest Party Pad’ by the Times newspaper and ‘The Ultimate Party House’ by the Telegraph.

The table is made from three huge American Walnut slabs that can be placed in a number of configurations; from the full 8.6m, to taking out the central section 2.4m which splits in half and can then be used as console tables leaving either a 6.2m table or two 3.1m tables for dining.

Other completed commissions for Wilderness Reserve are a 3m English Walnut live-edge table at Moat Cottage and a whopping 12m long Elm table at the 18 bedroom Blyth Barn.

Finish: Semi-matt hardwax-oil with a strong rustic Artisan surface texture.
