2. General Terms of Sale
- Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it, which we will confirm in writing (e.g., via email order confirmation).
- It is your responsibility to check all details of your order, including measurements, dimensions, and product features, are correct before confirmation.
- We accept payment by BACs & PayPal. Full payment is generally required before dispatch or manufacture.
- Prices quoted are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, but the price confirmed in your order acceptance is the binding price.
3. Product Variations and Specifications
- All images, drawings, and descriptions on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, the final product may have slight variations in colour, grain, and dimensions due to the use of natural materials and the bespoke manufacturing process.
- We are not liable for goods being of unsuitable dimensions for your premises or for impossible access unless we have agreed in writing to inspect and measure the access prior to the order.
4. Delivery and Risk
- We will provide an estimated delivery date/period. While we endeavour to meet these times, time for delivery is not guaranteed, and we are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g., supplier issues, traffic).
- Delivery of the goods is completed when we deliver them to the address you gave us. The goods will be your responsibility from that time.
- You must inspect the goods upon delivery. Any apparent defects or damage should be noted on the delivery note and reported to us in writing within 48 hours of receipt.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation
Ready-Made Furniture
For standard, ready-made items purchased online, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the day after you receive the goods to cancel your order for any reason.
- You must inform us in writing that you wish to cancel within this period.
- You then have another 14 days to return the items to us.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods (unless they are faulty).
Bespoke/Custom-Made Furniture
Items made to your specific requirements, specifications, or personalised for you are exempt from the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.
- Once an order for bespoke furniture is confirmed and manufacturing begins, we cannot accept cancellations or offer a full refund, as the item cannot be easily resold.
- If you cancel a bespoke order, any costs incurred up to that point (e.g., material orders, design work) will be non-refundable.
- If a bespoke item is faulty or not as described, you still have your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement, or refund.
6. Liability and Guarantees
- We guarantee that on delivery, goods will conform to their description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for purpose.
- We offer a 12 months manufacturer’s guarantee against manufacturing defects. This does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or damage caused by failure to follow care instructions.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses or for any business loss.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
