The inspiration: The grain in this piece of burr London Plane is astonishing in its complexity, and we wanted to complement the amazing colour using the pebbles made originally from house bricks and chalk, creating a rockpool effect reminding us of times spent foraging at Ovingdean beach, just to the east of Brighton.
